Hailey Irwin

ACTOR, WRITER, CREATIVE

Born and raised in San Diego, Hailey is an actor, writer, director, and creative currently based in New York City. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Drama at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Atlantic Acting Studio, The Classical Studio), with a minor in Producing. They will be graduating in the Spring of 2026.

Hailey holds a deep appreciation and understanding for the exchange of energy that takes place between artist and audience  - a mission to tell compelling stories with truth and honesty lies at the core of Hailey's artistic practice. They approach each role with curiosity and commitment; living authentically in each moment with her scene partners. Whether they are tackling classical or contemporary text, Hailey's focus is always on bringing heart, skill, and radical presence to her characters.

Beyond drama, Hailey is also a talented improviser and sketch writer, discovering her love for the comedy world when she joined an improv group in the fall of 2019. She has continued pursuing this passion into college: They are a member of NYU's premier longform improv team, Dangerbox, and sketch comedy team, Comic Sans. She has performed at various comedy theaters in NYC including Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and The People's Improv Theater (PIT). The lessons improv teaches in creative collaboration and becoming fearless to fail have become foundational to how Hailey approaches all of their work.

Hailey is a passionate performer and person, and you can usually find them at MUD with friends or waiting for the L train in their spare time. She enjoys pottery, rock climbing, and listening to music. â€‹â€‹
