I am currently performing long-form improv comedy with my pride and joy: NYU's premiere improv team, Dangerbox! Having been on the team since my freshman year, I love these people more than anything. This year, we performed in comedy festivals in NYC, DC, and Saratoga Springs. We have monthly shows on campus that are open to the public — we also perform at UCB regularly. I am also performing with Comic Sans, one of NYU's sketch comedy teams! I love getting the opportunity to write comedy sketches and produce shows with this hilarious group of people. HONORS THESIS
I am currently working on an Honors Thesis at NYU Tisch's Theater Studies Honors Program. The Thesis will be completed in the Spring of 2026 and will be advised by Professor Carol Martin. My thesis examines various examples of staged violence through the lens of sensationalist social media and our current political climate. In this thesis, I seek to expand theatre makers' thinking on how to use staged violence to elicit empathy rather than emotional desensitization.
